An almost derelict bungalow in Teynham, near Sittingbourne in Kent. The roof was stripped of old slates, felt and batten and rotten timbers. The roof was extended and repitched. New timbers were installed, new felt and battens added and then the roof was reslated with new slates.
An older building in Badlesmere, near Faversham with Kent peg tiled roofs and a slated roof that has had a complete overhaul. The Kent peg tiles and slates were carefully removed and then the roofs were stripped of the old wooden battens down to the rafters. New roof felt and battens
